Though the green car industry is growing rapidly these days, there are other ways to support evolving clean energy efforts besides just creating electric and hybrid vehicles. Now, don't get Passport Nissan wrong. We love the Nissan LEAF just as much, if not more, than any other enthusiast. However, we're also encouraged to see that the automaker is taking care to support initiatives outside the auto realm as well.

When it comes to Nissan involvement within the community, we at Passport Nissan never cease to be amazed. Mostly because each new initiative Nissan dips its hand in seems to be even more innovative than the last. Recently, the automaker took on the responsibility of adopting 15 EV chargers.

For decades now, individuals and companies across the globe have joined green thumbs at the end of April to celebrate and raise awareness for our earth's natural environment. While Nissan makes it a goal to champion our environment every day of the year, the automaker also makes a concerted effort to mark Earth Day with a significant event.

Passport Nissan feels there's no better way to enthuse auto consumers than to slowly build anticipation for a forthcoming, revamped model. It seems as though our favorite automaker, Nissan, has taken this practice to heart. Over the next 15 months, Nissan will unveil not one, not two, not even three, but five redesigned new Nissan vehicles! It's ok. We'll give you some time to let that sink in for a moment...

When the Nissan LEAF first burst on to the automotive scene back in 2010, it caused a ripple that quickly turned into a wave. Fast forward a few years and other automakers are trying to launch electric vehicle waves of their own. Of course, Nissan knows that to keep the LEAF momentum going, they're going to need to add new force with each coming year. Fortunately, the automaker is well-prepared to do exactly that.
