2021 Nissan NV200

The entry-level SV200 is the S trim. It has dual sliding side doors, swing-out cargo doors with a 40/60 split, manually adjustable wide-angle spotter mirrors, six roof rack mounting points, and 20 cargo mounting points. The SV adds body-colored mirrors, a body-colored bumper, a chrome grille, and power-adjustable heated side mirrors. Both trims offer the option for windows for the rear doors and windows for the right-hand side door.

Power for the SV200 comes from a 2.0-liter four-cylinder gas engine. It generates 131 horsepower and 139 pound-feet of torque. It also has a front-wheel drive and works with a continuously variable automatic transmission.

This small cargo van is fuel-efficient no matter what type of driving you do. You can expect to get up to 24 mpg in the city and up to 26 mpg on the highway. Behind the wheel, the experience feels a lot like driving a car and not a bulky van. The responsive steering system and tight turning radius make it easy to handle and confidently maneuver around cramped city streets.

You'll find two seats in the SV200. The passenger seatback folds forward to create a flat surface with a tray built into it that holds a laptop or your lunch. Twenty mounting points in the cargo area make upfitting with a rack or shelves possible without drilling into the side panels, and the SV adds six hooks on the cargo floor. Cabin features include a height-adjustable driver's seat for the S. You'll find an under-seat storage drawer with room for papers, tools, or your computer when you want to keep it out of sight. Standard technology features in the S include a 7-inch touch screen, the NissanConnect infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a two-speaker stereo, and Bluetooth. A 12-volt power outlet is an added feature in the SV trim, which this year gets rear sonar as a standard feature.

Both the SV200 models come standard with a rearview camera system for a view of what's directly behind you. This cargo van also comes with vehicle dynamic control and a hill start assist feature that helps keep you from rolling backward on a hill by holding the brake pressure for a few seconds. A tire pressure monitor comes standard, along with a full suite of airbags, traction control, and anti-lock brakes. Stepping up to the SV adds rear parking sensors to give you an alert when you come close to an object when backing up.
