After weeks of real-world testing, the all-new 2022 Nissan Frontier PRO-4X was named “Best Off-Road Truck” by the editors of TFLtruck.com (TFL). Nissan’s completely reimagined Frontier mid-size pickup was evaluated against three other all-new 2022 model pickups in categories including off-road prowess, technology, performance, trailer towing and efficiency.
In winning the Best Off-Road Truck category, the TFL testers wrote: “The Frontier PRO-4X we tested has what it takes to tackle difficult trails. It has the locking rear differential, low-range transfer case, Bilstein shocks, and skid plates. It was a very good off-road pickup truck in its previous generation, and this new one is no different.”

Idling Stop is a system that automatically stops the engine when the vehicle is brought to a stop at signals and then activates as the car sets off again. Vehicles often keep their engines running even when stopped, but a vehicle with Idling Stop improves fuel economy by turning off the engine.
