What’s New for the 2019 Nissan Altima
The all-new 2019 Altima is offered in a range of trim levels – S, SR, SV, SL and Platinum. All five come equipped with the standard 2.5-liter engine and are available with Intelligent All-Wheel Drive.
The starting MSRP2 of $23,750 includes a long list of standard features, including Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™, 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, 8.0-inch color display with multi-touch control, Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB), Intelligent Forward Collision Warning (I-FCW) and Rear Door Alert (RDA).
In addition, the Altima SR and Platinum grades are available with the advanced 2.0-liter VC-Turbo engine (front-wheel drive only). An exclusive Altima Edition ONE launch edition, based on the Platinum VC-Turbo, is offered in limited numbers and comes complete with a first-ever Nissan Concierge service.

With the Texas sun shining and deep fryers frying, Nissan returned to the heart of truck country – the annual State Fair of Texas – today to reveal the 2019 TITAN, the most refined TITAN yet. Following a rockin’ performance from Fender® artist Eric Johnson, the new pickup was introduced by Fred DePerez, vice president, North American LCV Business Unit, Nissan North America, to a group of the nation’s top truck, auto and lifestyle media a day before doors open to an anticipated 2.5+ million fair-goers.

Nissan also provides a limited warranty against battery capacity loss below nine bars of capacity as shown on the vehicle’s battery capacity level gauge for the first eight years or 100,000 miles for all models.
Nissan and Google announce a technology partnership to embed the Android operating system in vehicles
Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi and Google today announced a technology partnership to embed the Android operating system in vehicles sold by the world’s leading automotive alliance, providing intelligent infotainment and customer focused-applications across multiple models and brands, scheduled to start in 2021.
Under the technology partnership, vehicles sold by the Alliance members in many markets will utilize Android, the world’s most popular operating system, and will provide turn-by-turn navigation with Google Maps, access to a rich ecosystem of automotive apps on the Google Play Store and have the ability to answer calls and texts, control media, find information, and manage vehicle functions with voice using the built in Google Assistant.

Nissan is introducing Safety Shield 360, a suite of six advanced active safety and driver-assist technologies, as standard equipment on all of its top-selling models by 2021, representing more than one million vehicles annually.
“Our philosophy is to bring Nissan Intelligent Mobility technologies to market in our most popular and affordable vehicles,” said Denis Le Vot, chairman, Nissan North America. “Safety Shield 360 combines six advanced systems to give models like Altima and Rogue a class-leading package of technologies that can improve safety and the overall driving experience for Nissan owners.”
According to the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), cross traffic alert reduces crashes by 22 percent; the combination of rearview cameras and sensors reduces crashes by 42 percent; and adding rear emergency braking reduces backing crashes by 78 percent compared with vehicles with none of these features.
Nissan Safety Shield 360, which includes front, side and rear sensing technologies – will first be introduced as standard equipment on SV and SL grades of the upcoming 2019 Rogue, 2019 Rogue Sport and the all-new 2019 Altima, which all go on sale at Nissan dealers in fall 2018.
