2018 Nissan Kicks compact utility vehicle makes North American debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show
The all-new 2018 Nissan Kicks, the newest entry in the fast-growing affordable compact crossover market, made its North American debut today at the Los Angeles Auto Show. The bold new Kicks becomes the sixth member of the Nissan crossover and SUV lineup – which has experienced record sales in recent years – when it hits Nissan U.S. dealerships in June 2018.
“As the gateway to Nissan’s adventure-ready sport-utility portfolio – joining Rogue Sport, Rogue, Murano, Pathfinder and Armada – Kicks is designed to fit the needs of singles or couples looking for expressive styling, personal technology, smart functionality and advanced safety features at an affordable price starting well under $19,000,” said Dan Mohnke, senior vice president, Sales & Marketing and Operations, Nissan Division U.S., Nissan North America, Inc. Mohnke unveiled the new Kicks during a media event at the show.
Nissan Rogue and Rogue Sport named to 2018 Consumer Guide Automotive ‘Best Buy Award’ list
Consumer Guide Automotive has named the Nissan Rogue and Rogue Sport to its annual “Best Buy Award” list for 2018 in the Compact Crossover and Subcompact Crossover categories, respectively.
The publication, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary, evaluates new vehicles in 20 vehicle segments and selects the top models in class based on a range of factors including price. “A vehicle does not become a ‘Best Buy’ based solely on objective ratings. It also has to distinguish itself as being a good dollar value compared to others in the class,” stated the editors.

Nissan named 2017 Ruedas ESPN Awards ‘Manufacturer of the Year.’ Rogue Sport takes ‘Vehicle of the Year’ title
Nissan has been named the winner in four categories in the annual Ruedas ESPN Awards, including the prestigious “Manufacturer of the Year” and “Vehicle of the Year” titles, at the 2017 Los Angeles Auto Show.
The new 2017 Rogue Sport, the latest addition to Nissan’s popular crossover SUV lineup, took home the hardware in both the “Vehicle of the Year” and “Best CUV” categories. The TITAN XD, the flagship of Nissan’s hardworking personal and commercial pickup lineup, won for “Best Diesel Pickup Truck.” Winners are selected by a jury of industry experts in 14 categories, along with the “Vehicle of the Year.”
