Nissan’s new TITAN campaign is a stark departure from the competitive and serious tone often used in truck advertising, as the brand uses humor to attract more Millennial and Generation X buyers – two key demographics TITAN currently has a higher share of than segment sales leaders1.
According to retail sales data from Strategic Vision, both TITAN half-ton and TITAN XD owners have median ages three to four years younger than the industry average1. The same data reveals TITAN has a higher share of Millennial buyers than the segment’s two best-selling nameplates. However, it is with Generation X buyers where TITAN really over indexes, with 34 percent of TITAN sales in this demographic – 10 percentage points above the segment average.

Custom interior treatment includes two-tone leather-appointed seats with unique stitching, Black Quartz and premium wood tone interior trim and embossed “Platinum Reserve” emblem on the console lid. The Platinum Reserve is scheduled to arrive at Nissan dealerships nationwide in late October with an MSRP3 of $61,690 for the 2WD model and $64,590 for the 4WD model.

Nissan named one of the best global brands for 2017
The Nissan brand has been named one of the world’s most valuable in 2017 by the leading consultancy Interbrand.
Nissan ranks 39th in Interbrand’s annual Best Global Brands study, released today. The study estimates the value of the Nissan brand at $11.534 billion. Last year, Nissan ranked 43rd with an estimated brand value of $11.066 billion.
In the study, Interbrand cites Nissan’s actions to improve brand value, centered around the company’s
Nissan Intelligent Mobility strategy. It also singles out the customer benefits Nissan has delivered, such as its autonomous driving technologies and electric vehicles. Interbrand has recognized Nissan as one of the world’s most valuable brands for seven straight years.
